2022 has seen Lightfoot International Ltd increase their efforts in supporting Naval Forces abroad.
Not only are we providing quick response support in the Kingdom of Bahrain to any Royal Naval vessel stationed or visiting there but we are increasingly seeing other countries take up our services for us to respond quickly and efficiently to their Navies.
Mark Pollard, the Maritime and Land Manager, said “The Lightfoot Service and Commissioning Engineer’s feet haven’t touched the ground for the first half of this year, as well as supporting naval vessels abroad, we have had a presence in Plymouth, Portsmouth, Marchwood and Faslane dockyards.”
Spare parts for Naval Vessels
The provision of spares for our equipment at home and abroad has also increased by three times this year. The logistics team have had a busy time, especially with organising castings, machining and quality checking our bespoke low magnetic signature compressor parts, demand for which has been particularly high.
